TRUE STORY INTERVIEW (Video) – More known for their comedic roles, James Franco and Jonah Hill talk about their upcoming drama True Story. The stars share their experiences portraying real people, handling the heavy subject matter, and executing their dramatic scenes together.
Based on the memoir by Michael Finkel, the film stars Hill as Finkel, a disgraced reporter who discovers his identity has been stolen by Christian Longo (Franco), an accused murderer currently in jail. When the two men decide to meet for an interview, Finkel tries to dig for Longo’s true story.
True Story is directed by Rupert Goold and also stars Felicity Jones, Connor Kikot, Gretchen Mol, and Betty Gilpin.
PLOT: The relationship between journalist Michael Finkel and Christian Longo, an FBI Most Wanted List murderer who for years lived outside the U.S. under Finkel’s name.
